Enhancing History-Taking Skills in Medical Students: A Practical Guide

History-taking skills are an essential part of the medical school curriculum. However, from author’s experience and available literature, students consistently report a lack confidence in their history-taking abilities, as result, feel underprepared for upcoming summative communication assessments. Therefore, at University Cambridge, we used evidence-based education to create teaching programme that aimed increase preparedness exams. This article outlines 12 tips be when students. These were created using student feedback, personal experience, wider literature on topic. Creating effective course can take significant effort time. hope this guide provides starting framework quickly applied allow users courses
